So when I was younger I was a hard core democrat then about junior year of high school I changed party's and have been a republican for some time. Now at the age of 34 it's time for a change again.
I have long hated to two party system but believed you needed to be in of the the two major party's to accomplish anything. That type of thinking has ended for me. I will now but what I have always been. I will vote for who I believe will best represent me/us in there respective office. Well I have been a republican I have voted for many people not in the party. I have votes for democrats and independence candidates.
I will no longer help the republican party of Duluth or Minnesota or any other level Well there will be some candidates I support I will help then in and only them, as I will any candidate.
I may join the independence party of Minnesota or I may just hang out by my self and stay true to me!

I was interviewed by Larry Oaks of the Star Tribe a few days ago. He is doing a profile story on Duluth Mayor Don Ness. He said the story should be out next weekend.
Well I don't want to give away to much of what I told Larry, I thought I was pretty good LOL. I did say I thought the Mayor was doing a pretty good job and if I had to give him a grade it would be a B. Well I had some negative comments I also praised the Mayor for a few things as well. Remember even if you support a politician you can't or should not always agree with them.
That is all I am going to say about the story for now stay tuned for more on when it will be in Star.
Hi all just wanted to let you all know that I hope to be blogging here more again. I will also keep going on with the successful facebook blog as well. I just thought it was time to blog here again as well. Well I do hope to keep this blog current, I don't have as much time I would like to blog so I will post when I can.
Duluth Politics blog is BACK!
Hello everyone, wanted to check in here and let you know this blog is not done. That said I am only going to post here for big news and longer blogs. It may not be very often. To follow us daily please go here, http://www.facebook.com/?ref=tn_tnmn#!/groups/duluthpolitics/. You will have to ask to join the group.
Interesting, the union endorsements. They endorsed Sharla Gardner in district three who does not have any one running against her. They did not endorse Jay Fossile in the 5th district who is a union member, he also has no one running against him.
There was a rally today in Duluth, the rally was held because the unions want to send a message to U.S. congressman Chip Cravaack. The message was hold a town hall meeting here. They say he does not come the largest voting population of the district enough.
Their facebook page encourage people to bring signs and pots and pans to make noise. I have a better use for those pots and pans they could hit each other over the head with them. Lets be honest this rally was such a joke. Fact is Cravaak has been to Duluth twice before the rally and in fact was in Duluth the tonight (the night of the rally) this being his third visit sense his election.
Well my support for Cravaak is less today then when he started cause of his lack of voting for the debt ceiling compromise, I still support him at about 60%.
The Duluth DFL wonders why he has not held a meeting here, all you have to do is look at meetings he has held around Duluth. They sent people to be confrontational to Deer River,MN. They Pack town hall meeting with hecklers. They care not to hear what he says they only want to yell and scream.
Let me add I have been at democrat events where the republicans have heckled as well I don't like that at all.
